Почему у меня на ноутбуке плохое разрешение экрана в биосе?

У меня немного скучная проблема: когда я пытаюсь установить любую ОС на свой ноутбук или использовать любой загрузчик, то есть, используя только вывод BIOS без дополнительных драйверов, я всегда получаю плохое разрешение экрана. (После установки драйверов os + все нормально, но не биос - на удивление).

Мне нужно иметь 1600x900 в загрузчике Grup или Clover. Я много чего перепробовал, но не удачи.

Не уверен, что это будет возможно для вас. Видите, BIOS (и загрузчики также отображаются с использованием команд BIOS, как правило) поддерживает только базовое разрешение, обычно VGA (или его подмножества, такие как XGA, редко более того, об этом вы можете прочитать здесь, например: VGA Resolutions).

1600x900 не является ни разрешением VGA, ни XGA. Ну, в основном это "своего рода" нестандартное разрешение, поэтому BIOS его не поддерживает.

В работающей ОС графический драйвер берет управление от BIOS и может переключать графическую карту в любом разрешении, но BIOS имеет только список предопределенных.
