Я предполагаю, что xxxx - это то, что вы заменили для конфиденциальности и в исходной команде был правильный IP-адрес.

192.168.96.199 находится в другой сети, шлюз должен быть в той же сети.

Ваша локальная маска сети, вероятно, правильная (маска 255.255.255.0 для подсети 192.168.12.0)

Вы уверены, что третий октет (96, а не 12) вашего шлюза правильный?
