После восстановления резервной копии конфигурации через веб-интерфейс Luci аутентификация с открытым ключом ssh перестала работать:

$ ssh root@192.168.1.254 -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa
root@192.168.1.254: Permission denied (publickey)

Проверил dropbear:

root@OpenWrt:/etc/dropbear# ls -l
-rw-------    1 501      20             724 Apr 29 09:07 authorized_keys

В /etc /dropbear /authorized_keys указан правильный ключ id_rsa.pub .

Люси это тоже подтверждает. Что может быть не так?

Хорошо, как я понял это:

SSH в OpenWRT с парольной аутентификацией, Run

logread |grep dropbear
...

По какой-то причине право собственности на /etc /dropbear было нарушено. Так я и сделал

chown -R root:root /etc/dropbear

Который все исправил
