Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx не поддерживает драйверы для платформы Intel Sandy Bridge, так как она была выпущена почти через год после появления Lucid.

Рассмотрите возможность обновления до Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal или любого другого дистрибутива с ядром Linux версии 2.6.38 или новее, поскольку в эти версии была добавлена полная поддержка Sandy Bridge.

Команда ядра Ubuntu предлагает более новые версии ядра Linux для Lucid в своем PPA, но их веб-сайт предупреждает вас:«Не кричите команде ядра, если она убьет всех ваших котят». В сочетании с последними драйверами X Intel, вы должны получить поддержку Sandy Bridge на Lucid. Чтобы установить его, выполните следующие команды:
